Find & win with Bob Box: Competition terms and conditions

1. Promoter

The Find & win with Bob Box competition ("the competition" or “Find and win”) is organised by Bob Group ("the promoter").

2. Competition validity period

The competition begins 1 September 2026 and closes at 23:59 SAST on 30 September 2026 (“the competition period”). Entries received after the closing date will not be considered.

3. Eligibility

• The competition is open to South African residents aged 18 or over from 1 September 2026. 
• Employees of Bob Group, its affiliates, agencies, partners, and their immediate family members may not enter.
• By entering, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

4. How to enter

To enter:

1. Find any Bob Box locker.
2. Take a selfie with the Bob Box locker.
3. Share your selfie in the comments section of the competition post using the hashtag #ISpottedBobBox.
4. For one (1) bonus entry, share your selfie to your Instagram or Facebook Story, tag the official Bob Go account and use the hashtag #ISpottedBobBox and the name of the locker, e.g., #ISpottedAdam. 

Multiple entries are permitted, provided each entry features a different Bob Box location or a new original photo of the same Bob Box locker.  

5. Prize

• One (1) winner will receive a R3,000 Bob Shop voucher.
• The voucher may be used towards payment for any purchase on Bob Shop. 
• The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. In the event of the loss or deletion of the voucher once given to the winner, howsoever caused, no refund or compensation shall be offered, 
• Normal Bob Shop terms and conditions shall apply to the use of the voucher, including the Buyer Protection Programme.  
• Failure to use all or part of the voucher within its indicated or stated validity period shall result in the forfeiture without refund or compensation of any remaining value on the voucher at the time of its expiry. 

6. Winner selection

• The winner will be selected by random draw from all valid entries received during the competition period.
• Bonus story entries will count as one (1) additional entry into the draw.
• The winner will be contacted via the social media account used to enter within seven (7) business days after the competition closes.
• If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within five (5) business days, Bob Group reserves the right to select an alternative winner. 
• The judges’ decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into. 

7. Content usage

By entering the competition, participants grant Bob Group a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to repost, share and use submitted content across its marketing channels, including (but not limited to) social media, digital platforms and promotional material, with image credit given where reasonably possible. No remuneration shall be offered for any such use of submitted content. 

8. General

• Entries containing offensive, unlawful, inappropriate or misleading content will be disqualified.
• Fake, automated or duplicate entries may be disqualified. This includes images that have been generated or manipulated using AI. 
• Bob Group reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and the identity and eligibility of participants.

9. Privacy

By entering the competition, participants consent to Bob Group collecting and using their personal information solely for the purpose of promoting and administering the competition, contacting the winner and issuing the R3,000 Bob Shop voucher. Bob Group undertakes not to sell any personal data collected during the course of the competition to any third party. 

10. Acceptance

Participation in the competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
