Scan to fulfil from Bob Go
At Bob Go, we believe that innovative technology can help to streamline processes, save you time, and take the hassle out of shipping items that you’ve sold online. Our Scan to fulfil feature is the perfect example of a tool that’s quick and easy to use, and that will save you valuable time.
What is scan to fulfil?
Scan to fulfil on Bob Go is a feature that allows ecommerce merchants to automate and streamline their order fulfilment process by scanning the barcode on the packing slips. When a packing slip barcode is scanned, Bob Go automatically fulfils the corresponding order, generating shipping labels and updating tracking information. This reduces manual steps, minimises errors, and speeds up the fulfilment process, especially for high order volumes.
This Bob Go feature is available to anyone who has a paid Bob Go subscription. All you’ll need is a barcode scanner, and, if you want to do one-touch waybill sticker printing after fulfilling an order, an optional Zebra printer. (This last option is only available if you have one of our Advanced or Premium Bob Go subscriptions).
How do I activate scan to fulfil?
Scan to fulfil couldn’t be easier to use – you can manage the entire process via your Bob Go dashboard. Simply navigate to Settings > Order management, and then enable the toggle for Auto fulfill on barcode scan. Remember to save your changes, and then you’re good to go.
If you’re using a Zebra printer to create one-touch waybills with our Advanced or Premium subscriptions, you can also enable the toggle for Automatically print Zebra sticker waybill after auto-fulfil. If you do select this option, you’ll need to save your changes again.
Ready, set, scan to fulfil!
Using this feature couldn’t be simpler. Your Bob Go account will automatically pull through each sale from your Shopify or WooCommerce website. It will also generate your packing slip for you, so all you have to do is return to your Bob Go account, click on the gear icon and select Download packing slip. print it, then return to your Bob Go account where the order status will have changed to Processing (you may need to refresh the page to update this).
Once your item is packed and ready to go, simply scan the barcode on the packing slip and your order has been automatically fulfilled.
Printing your waybill sticker
If you have a Zebra waybill sticker printer and you’ve enabled the relevant toggle, your waybill sticker will print as soon as you scan the barcode on the packing slip and you can simply attach it to your package.
